Louise King's DNA comes from a butterfly. Her ability is especially useful as it allows her to absorb and retain toxic compounds and release them through her skin.

She wears flowing robes to disguise the wing-like structures under her arms. Brilliant designs on her face stand out like stained glass on her pale skin, giving her the look of a heavily made up stage performer.

When Louise disagrees with someone (which is often), she says, "What about it?"

We first meet Louise in Book 6 of The Human-Hybrid Project, Taking the Tower.

Chris Beer looks like an old-west giant of a farmhand, with broad shoulders and hips. He walks heavily and wears thick-soled boots, which disguise his most obvious physical adaptation to his horse DNA. His feet are very hoof-like and require the regular use of a farrier to keep them trimmed. His boots substitute for horseshoes, which Chris refuses to wear.

Chris touts long, wiry hair with the texture of a horse's mane. Before he speaks, he often clears his throat with a neighing sound. His thick vocal cords are responsible.

His usefulness in the Human-Hybrid Project is his ability to sleep standing up, even in a battle-type situation.

We first meet Chris in Book 6 of The Human-Hybrid Project, Taking the Tower.

Anatoli Burgorski is a sizable man at six feet. He wears dark hair over pale skin. Full features give him an expressive face. He has a twin, Andrey, also in the human-hybrid project. Anatoli has a distinctive mark on his right eyebrow from an injury as a child. His eyebrow appears to be shaved in the center, although it is no more than a scar.

Anatoli is combined with mockingbird DNA, enabling him to imitate voices and other sounds with near-pitch-perfect accuracy. He uses this skill to communicate clandestinely with his twin, who shares the same skill.

Anatoli is the more outgoing of the two brothers. He smiles, laughs, and frequently touches his brother in conversation.

We first meet Anatoli in Book 6 of The Human-Hybrid Project, Taking the Tower.

Melanie Hatherill stands out due to her mannerism of speaking each word like a complete sentence.

She has coffee skin, a dark halo of hair, long legs and a high waist. She has been genetically bonded with hippopotamus DNA to give her phenomenal running speed.

We first meet Melanie in Book 6 of The Human-Hybrid Project, Taking the Tower.

Andrey Burgorski, twin to Anatoli, is a sizable man at six feet, with dark hair over pale skin. Full features give him an expressive face. His twin, Anatoli, is also in the human-hybrid project. Andrey has a birthmark that visually individualizes him from his twin: a small mole by his left eye.

Andrey is combined with mockingbird DNA, enabling him to imitate voices and other sounds with near-pitch-perfect accuracy. He uses this skill to communicate clandestinely with his twin, who shares the same skill.

Andrey is the more introspective of the two brothers. He often says, "Let me think about that," when asked for his thoughts on a matter.

Andrey calls his brother by the diminutive Anati, pronounced "An-a-tee."

We first meet Andrey in Book 6 of The Human-Hybrid Project, Taking the Tower.
